Your Hotel: Crewe Hall – Cheshire
This 17th century Jacobean mansion and Grade I listed hotel is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens in the heart of Cheshire. Just 2 miles from the centre of Crewe, the luxuriously appointed guest rooms are divided between modern and sophisticated in the west wing and antiques-furnished, period-style quarters in the main hall. Dine in the Brasserie Bar & Restaurant, walk the beautiful grounds, pamper yourself in the Spa or work up an appetite in the Health Club with pool for the perfect getaway. Steeped in history, the public rooms are absolutely stunning and reflect the changing architectural styles and tastes of the various owners.
Arrival: 23rd December (D)
You can check in after 3pm when you will be welcomed with tea, coffee and mince pies before settling into your room or perhaps taking a dip in the heated pool. If the weather’s fine you can take a stroll in the wonderful gardens or have a deserved drink on the Terrace.
In the evening your Three-Course Dinner will be served in the main restaurant.
Christmas Eve (B/D)
Breakfast is served from 8.00 – 10.30am after which the rest of the day yours to fully get into the holiday spirit. Indulge yourself with a relaxing Spa treatment, explore the fantastic attractions that Cheshire has to offer or get acquainted with the incredible history of Crewe Hall that dates back to the mid 1600’s.
After your three-course buffet dinner you can prepare for Midnight Mass at one of the nearby churches. Mulled wine and mince pies will be served on your return.
Christmas Day (B/L/D)
Breakfast is served from 7.30 – 10.30am giving you plenty of time for the opening of presents before the highlight of your stay – a traditional Christmas Dinner with a visit from Santa.
Afterwards relax in the Bar and watch the Queen’s Speech on TV with Christmas Cake and light refreshments.
If you have any room left, the day rounds off with a buffet evening meal and of course a nightcap in the historic Sheridan Lounge which has an ornately carved oak screen, which gives the room the look of an old college hall, complete with comfy seats and plush sofas.
Boxing Day (B/D)
Breakfast is served from 7.30 – 10.30am with the rest of the day at leisure.
In the evening the Carvery Dinner is accompanied by entertainment.
Departure 27th December (B)
Your fabulous festive break ends with a hearty breakfast and a final chance to drink in the magnificence of this stunning hotel. Before heading home you could take a trip out into the stunning Cheshire countryside or go shopping in Manchester or Liverpool which are withing easy driving distance.
