Some rooms get outstanding views of St. Peter’s Basilica or the Castel Sant’Angelo, which was built as a mausoleum for the Emperor Hadrian.

The Zenzero & Cannella restaurant serves a first-class menu of modern Italian cuisine. At breakfast, expect a lavish Continental buffet, with pastries, fresh fruit, sparkling wine and hot dishes cooked to order. There is also an elegant bar with complimentary appetisers and snack menu, a superb wine and cocktail list and satellite TV showing the latest sports fixtures. General Information

Rome

The Eternal City with all its historic sites is Italy’s capital city, political centre, and the nearby Vatican the country’s religious heartbeat with the dome of St Peter’s Basilica to remind everyone of the pope’s presence. One of the world’s most beautiful cities, it’s also a great art city, every year millions of tourists come to admire Roman art, architecture, treasures, and masterpieces. However, there’s far more to Rome than history and fine art, there is a lifestyle, much built around food and wine and then sport; football is the unmissable attraction, but Six Nations Rugby is now well established and receives great local and overseas support.

Olimpico Stadium

Rome’s Stadio Olimpico is located within the Foro Italico sports complex just north of the city. Currently the largest and main sports facility of Rome it’s primarily used for football and is the home stadium of “Serie A” teams Roma and Lazio, two of Italy’s internationally recognised football clubs. Rebuilt to host the 1990 FIFA World Cup final it also hosts the annual Coppa Italia final and most recently hosted the 2009 UEFA Champions League final. The stadium, the country’s national athletics stadium is now used by the Italian Rugby Federation or FIR, also occasionally hosts concerts and other events.
